Contact ChrisHere are some of the unique benefits I offer as a guitar tutor:
I personally enjoy having Chris as my bass guitar instructor because of how friendly he is and the laidback nature of our lessons. You get the choice of what you do in lessons and can decide on whether or not to play the bass more casually or take grade exams. He's a great teacher and makes playing the guitar even more enjoyable.
Having played guitar on and off since the age of 13, I decided to pick up the guitar again in my mid-40s. Since starting lessons with Chris, my playing has improved significantly, so much so that I have confidently passed grade 4 and 5 electric guitar exams. Apart from achieving the grades, I am now playing in a 90s covers band in my spare time, something I would not have contemplated 3 years ago. Chris has also been teaching my son for the last two years. He finds the lessons fun and enjoyable, and has also achieved great marks in the grade 1 and 2 RGT exams
Chris has taught our son for the last two years. He is an excellent teacher. Our son has responded to his careful, thoughtful teaching, and his lessons are a highlight in our son's week. Chris is able to explain difficult musical ideas in an uncomplicated way, and got our son through his recent guitar exam with flying colours. He is also extremely positive and encouraging, in a very constructive way. We really can't fault him.
